Brian Rochford

Brian Rochford
When you meet Brian, you will immediately be drawn to his warm and caring spirit.  A Lafayette Native, Brian has been immersed in real estate his entire life.  From the time he was a young boy, he would tag along with his father touring open houses wherever they traveled, whether on vacation in Tahoe or in between his sporting events locally.  And he and his brothers always remembered to pick up “Homes and Land” magazine (the only real estate magazine at the time) so they could peruse the latest issue with their Father, pointing out the houses they would buy when grew up. While in college, Brian was in charge of his parent’s investment property - meeting prospective tenants, doing move-in/move-out inspections and helping coordinate needed repairs. Brian loved meeting new people, hearing their stories and trying to find the right match for his clients. It was this experience that helped Brian understand that residential real estate was his calling. He joined the family-owned real estate business right after he graduated from college in 2003.  He went on to get an MBA, graduating in 2009.

One of Brian’s first transactions was the purchase of his own condo in Downtown Walnut Creek, which he still owns today. His father wanted Brian to understand first hand the highs and lows a person can experience when buying a property.  This has helped Brian anticipate ‘bumps in the road’ and also be able to empathize with clients during a real estate transaction. Since then, Brian has built a strong client base among first time home buyers, luxury end buyers, and sellers, as well as owners of income properties. He has also continued to manage income properties for his clients.  Brian's youthful exuberance, his knowledge of the Lamorinda and Greater East Bay Markets, his excellent communication and negotiation skills, and his professionalism make him a standout among the rising stars of Lamorinda real estate agents.

Brian has donated much of his time and talent to a variety of community and church based activities over the years. From his days playing CYO and Campolindo High School basketball to helping coach at UNLV, Brian enjoys being able to give back to the community that supported him in his youth. He has coached Campolindo High School summer league teams, Stanley Middle School, CYO basketball and refereed for LMSC soccer games and LMYA basketball leagues. Brian was most recently a boys basketball coach for St. Perpetua CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) and a member of the St. Perpetua School Board. He actively participates in many school and parish activities and continues to play in two adult basketball leagues in Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill. When he is not selling real estate or running up and down the basketball court, Brian is spending time with his significant other and their dog, Parker, traveling the country, wine tasting, hanging out at the beach or looking for the next hidden food gem or rooftop bar in town.

Brian is a very down-to-earth, honest and thoughtful person. He is passionate about real estate and would love to help you or anyone you know with their real estate needs!
